New Agent Studio 2.0 — build agents that take action

Ask your business anything.

Nextio connects to the tools where your numbers actually live — warehouses, CRMs, billing, docs — and gives every team AI agents that answer in plain language, with charts, tables and a source for every claim.

How it works

From scattered tools to answers in an afternoon

No pipelines to build, no dashboards to wait for. Connect once, and every team can ask — and act — on the same trusted data.

  1. 01 — Connect

    Plug in your sources

OAuth or a read-only service account. Nextio maps schemas, indexes documents and mirrors each source's permissions — in minutes, not sprints.

  2. 02 — Ask

Ask like you'd ask a colleague

Agents plan the query, join across sources, check their own math and answer with charts, tables and a citation for every number.

  3. 03 — Act

    Put answers to work

Schedule recurring briefs, set monitors that alert on change, and let agents file tickets, post to Slack or update CRM fields — with approvals.

80+ connectors

Every source, one conversation

Query warehouses live, index documents and tickets, and stitch SaaS objects together through a shared semantic layer — so "revenue" means the same thing in every answer.

  • Live queries, not copies. Warehouses and databases are queried in place with pushdown SQL; nothing is bulk-exported.
  • Permission-aware by default. If someone can't see a Salesforce opportunity or a Drive file, their agents can't either.
  • Bring anything else. Upload CSV and Excel files, or point Nextio at any REST or GraphQL API with an OpenAPI spec.

Platform

Agents that work the way your team works

Start with ready-made agents for revenue, finance and support — then shape your own in Agent Studio with the instructions, sources and tools your process needs.

Agent Studio

Build a custom agent in minutes, not quarters

Write instructions in plain English, choose which sources and actions it can use, and test it against real questions before you share it with the team.

Scheduled briefs

Monday's numbers, already written

Recurring reports land in Slack, Teams or email — with what changed, why, and what to do next.

Permissions

Sees only what you can see

Row-, object- and file-level access is inherited from every source and re-synced continuously.

Charts & tables

Answers you can present

Every answer renders as an editable chart or table you can pin, export or drop into a deck.

Monitors & alerts

Know before the meeting

Describe what matters; agents watch it around the clock and explain anomalies when they fire.

Semantic layer

One definition of every metric

Define ARR, active customer or gross margin once — in YAML or point-and-click — and every agent, board and brief uses it. Import existing dbt metrics in one click.

Shared notebooks

Think out loud, together

Chain questions into a notebook, comment on any answer, and hand a living analysis to finance or leadership without a single screenshot.

Boards, briefs & monitors

From one answer to an operating rhythm

Pin answers to living boards, turn them into briefs on a schedule, and set monitors that tap you on the shoulder when something moves.

Enterprise trust

Built for the security review, not around it

Your data stays yours. Nextio is designed so that security, legal and data teams can say yes on day one — and stay comfortable as usage grows.

SOC 2Type II
GDPREU DPA
ISO 27001Certified
SAMLSSO + SCIM

Never used for training

Your data, prompts and outputs are never used to train Nextio's or any third-party model. Zero-retention agreements with every model provider.

Permissions that follow the source

Role-based access in Nextio is layered on top of each source's own ACLs, re-synced continuously — never broader than the original.

SSO, SAML & SCIM

Okta, Entra ID, Google Workspace and any SAML 2.0 IdP. Automated provisioning and de-provisioning with SCIM 2.0.

EU & US data residency

Choose Frankfurt or Virginia per workspace. Data, indexes, logs and backups stay in-region.

Complete audit logs

Every question, query, answer and action is logged with who, what and which sources. Stream to Splunk, Datadog or your SIEM.

VPC & on-prem options

Run Nextio in your own AWS, GCP or Azure account, or fully air-gapped on Kubernetes, with your own model endpoints.

Encryption everywhere

AES-256 at rest and TLS 1.3 in transit. Customer-managed keys (BYOK) via AWS KMS, GCP KMS or Azure Key Vault.

Human-in-the-loop actions

Write actions require explicit scopes and, optionally, approval. Read-only by default for every new connector.

Customers

Teams that stopped waiting for the dashboard

4.9 / 5 from 600+ verified reviews
"Our board pack used to take my team four days a month. Now the Finance Agent drafts it overnight from NetSuite, Stripe and Snowflake, and we spend one morning checking it instead of a week building it. Every number links back to its source, which is what got our auditors comfortable."
RVRachel VossCFO, Kestrel Bank
"I asked why our Q3 win rate dropped and got a cited answer in under a minute — broken down by segment, rep and competitor. That used to be a two-week ticket for the data team."
MOMarcus OyelaranHead of RevOps, Parabola Freight
"The semantic layer is the reason I signed off. We defined ARR once, imported our dbt metrics, and now sales, finance and the CEO get the same number no matter how they phrase the question."
HNHana NakamuraData Lead, Orbitly
"Security review took nine days, not nine weeks. SAML, SCIM, EU residency and a clear no-training clause — our CISO had nothing left to ask."
TBTobias BrandtVP IT & Security, Meridian Supply
"Our renewal risk agent reads product usage, Zendesk and Slack every Monday and pings CSMs before customers go quiet. Gross churn is down 22% in two quarters."
CACamila AlvarezVP Customer Success, Tidewater
"We run Nextio in our own VPC against a self-hosted model because of patient data. Setup took a sprint with their solutions team; clinicians now ask operational questions directly. I'd love even more chart types."
DIDr. David IdowuDirector of Analytics, Quanta Health
"The weekly brief replaced three status meetings. Leadership reads it over coffee, and the conversation starts at 'what do we do' instead of 'is this number right'."

FAQ

Questions, answered

Can't find what you're looking for? Talk to our team — a human replies within one business day.

How does Nextio connect to our data?

Most SaaS tools connect with OAuth in a couple of clicks. Databases and warehouses such as Postgres, Snowflake and BigQuery use a read-only service account; we query them live with pushdown SQL rather than copying tables. Documents from Google Drive, Notion and Slack are indexed so agents can search and cite them.

You choose exactly which schemas, objects, folders and channels each connection can see.

Do you train AI models on our data?

No. Your data, prompts and outputs are never used to train or fine-tune Nextio's models or any third-party model. Our model providers operate under zero-data-retention agreements, and this commitment is written into our Terms and Privacy Policy.

How do permissions work?

Nextio inherits access controls from each connected source — Salesforce sharing rules, Drive file permissions, Snowflake row access policies and so on — and re-syncs them continuously. On top of that you can assign workspace roles (Admin, Builder, Member, Viewer) and restrict agents to specific sources. An agent can never show someone data they couldn't already open themselves.

How do you keep answers accurate?

Agents generate and run real queries against your data, then cite the exact tables, records or documents behind every number. Metrics come from your semantic layer, so definitions stay consistent. You can expand any answer to inspect the SQL, and flag answers for review by your data team. AI output can still be wrong, so we make it easy to verify before you act.

Where is our data stored?

Each workspace is hosted in either our EU region (Frankfurt) or US region (Virginia). Indexes, caches, logs and backups stay in the region you choose. Enterprise customers can also deploy Nextio inside their own AWS, GCP or Azure VPC, or on-prem.

Which AI models does Nextio use?

Nextio routes each step to the best model for the job across leading frontier model providers, plus our own small models for query planning and permission checks. Enterprise customers can bring their own model endpoints or keys, including self-hosted open-weight models.

How long does it take to get started?

Most teams connect their first sources and get useful answers on day one. A typical Business rollout — semantic layer, three custom agents and scheduled briefs — takes two to three weeks. Enterprise deployments include a dedicated solutions engineer.

Who needs a paid seat?

Anyone who asks agents questions or builds boards, briefs and agents needs a seat. Viewers who only read shared boards and receive briefs are free and unlimited on every plan.
